According to the leaks of tech enthusiasts, it is now confirmed that there are going to be 4 variants in the iPhone 14 series. The mini variant of iPhone will not be available in the 14 series, which may be bad news for the consumers who love to use tiny smartphones. However, Apple confirmed that a Max variant is going to replace the mini variant this year. The 4 variants are, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max. The iPhone 14 Max is a successor of iPhone 14, which will come with a bigger display but at a cheaper price.
According to the leaks, the Pro models of 14 series are expected to eliminate the notch. The older iPhones have pretty big notches which makes it look old-fashioned. But this time the Pro models have a combination of a pill-shaped cutout for the Face ID components and a circular hole-punch cutout for the camera. Unfortunately, this feature is limited only with the Pro models and not with the regular models. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are going to have the same notch design as the previous version of iPhone.
The iPhone 14 series is going to upgrade its regular 12MP with 48MP camera and will increase the camera aperture. The pro models will feature a triple rear camera setup as the previous models of iPhone and the non-pro variants will have a dual camera setup. Also the 48MP camera will have the ability to record 8K videos, which would be a game changer.
It’s almost been 8 years since the invention of the type-C port, but Apple still hasn’t upgraded the basic lightning port with it. The consumers are eagerly waiting for the update in the charging port in iPhone 14 series but there is no change in the port this year. All the iPhone 14 variants are featuring a lightning port. Almost all the android smartphones, laptops, TVs now-a-days are coming with the type-C port, which makes it easier for the consumer to carry a single charger for all the devices. But Apple is trying to make itself unique from all other devices, by providing a lightning port.
This year Apple is not going to launch any mini versions of iPhone 14 because last year the company faced a huge loss in the sales of iPhone 13 mini. However, Apple is introducing a new variant named iPhone 14 Max. The Max variant is going to have a bigger display of 6.7-inch.
We all know that the iPhone 13 series was a huge success for Apple, which provided the best battery life of all time. And as always Apple is going to surprise the consumers with an improved battery life this time also in the iPhone 14 series.
The main issue which made a huge difference in sales of the iPhone 13 series was the ProMotion Display. According to some early rumours, it was assumed that all the iPhones in the 14 series will have a ProMotion Display but as always Apple is going to provide the ProMotion Display in only the pro models.The non-pro models are still coming with a 60Hz display. It is a great disappointment and loss for the consumers, who invest so much money in a smartphone and still get a 60Hz display.

According to the rumours, Apple is going to launch the iPhone 14 series in WWDC 2022 which is going to be held in September 2022. According to the previous timelines of Apple, it hosts the WWDC in September every year, and launches its products in it. Moat of the Apple events takes place in the first or second week of September.

According to some other rumours, the launch of iPhone 14 Max is delayed because of the regular pandemics and lockdowns in China, due to which production of all the variants at the same time is nearly impossible.
