MediaTek Dimensity 1050 Processor Announced, First MediaTek Chipset With mmWave 5G Connectivity: Specifications
MediaTek is the only company making processors competing with the processors of Qualcomm in the market. This processor is said to compete with Qualcomm’s upper-midrange chip, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G/778G+.
Connectivity
MediaTek Dimensity 1050 is built with TMSC’s 6 nm fabrication process. This processor comes with the addition of the mmWave and sub-6 GHz 5G support and supports the latest 3CC-CA connectivity for a faster speed of up to 4.6Gbps, which increases the speed delivery by about 50%.
Display
The MediaTek Dimensity 1050 supports Full HD+ displays with a refresh rate of up to a super-fast 144Hz, Native 10-bit colour gives vibrant HDR and a billion-colour palette, the latest global HDR video standards include HDR10+ Adaptive, CUVA HDR-vivid, HLG and Dolby Vision.
These will make the colours of your screen more beautiful, and a smoother experience.
